Jazz Improvisation

We run various one-day courses designed for instrumentalists and singers, who are new to the world of Jazz Improvisation. Taking place either on-site (eg. in a school, church or village hall) or at The Stables in Milton Keynes, the courses offer participants the opportunity to experiment, make mistakes, learn from each other and experience the fulfilling and cathartic art of improvisation.

Generally, participants are expected to have achieved a standard on their instruments similar to that of ABRSM Grade 3. However, a beginners’ course is available for young musicians, who may have a more limited knowledge of their chosen instrument.
