Music Leader Development Programme (2006/7)

Four locally-based music leaders were invited to participate in this six-month programme, which was funded by the Northamptonshire Community Foundation’s Local Network Fund. Following a series of training workshops and one-to-one tuition covering a range of issues, the participants led their own “live” music project at Thorplands Primary School. Subsequently, two of the participants took up full-time positions in organisations working with youth/music projects, another went to run the Notivate Programme in Cornwall and the fourth became a freelance music leader in the USA.
