IT’S BACK!

After a short break, we are very pleased to announce the return of the

Northants Anti-Bullying Songwriting Competition

Thanks to the amazing generosity of the Northants Community Foundation

We’re inviting anyone in Northamptonshire under the age of 18 to write a song to help beat bullying!

Ten songs will be chosen to be

PERFORMED AT A FINALISTS’ CONCERT

INCLUDING “LIVE” HOUSE BAND

 

 

Two songs will be chosen to be

RECORDED AT THE STUDIO @ THE STABLES

 

We are looking for songs that:

Contain a strong anti-bullying message.

Show originality and impact.

Appeal to children and young people.

Closing date for entries:

15th December 2023

PLEASE NOTE

All entrants must be under 18 years of age on 1st September 2023.

We are unable to consider songs that have plagiarised lyrics or melodies.

All entries must be sent by a responsible adult.

How To Enter

1. Make a simple voice recording of your song on a mobile phone or tablet.

If you can provide your own accompaniment, go ahead!  Please don’t worry about the quality of the recording.  Just make sure the words and melody are easily heard.

 

2. Write down all the lyrics.

 

3. Ask an adult to send your entry via email to antibully@notivate.org including all the following:

    • Voice recording of the song

    • Lyrics

    • Name of individual or group

    • Title of the song

    • Name and address of the host school or youth group (if applicable)

    • Name and email address of adult contact

4. If you would prefer to send a physical copy of the song (eg. CD), please include a covering letter containing all the above information, and post your entry to:
