In April 2018, as the Notivate Uganda team celebrated their programme’s Fifth Birthday, Narilanto from Madagascar visited the studio in Jinja to meet the team and learn from their experiences.
Narilanto then returned home to Antananarivo in Madagascar, accompanied by John from Notivate UK, to begin planning for Notivate Madagascar. John spent time with Narilanto and his team of musicians, leading some songwriting and improvisation training sessions. Here’s the song the team composed and recorded as part of the training:
